Well, I mentioned I think Long Meadow is the hardest TT of the year.

Not too much of a limb here, but, if done right, the TTT is the hardest effort of the year -- by FAR. Good God... Good luck to all of you!!! If any of you have any questions about the event, I have two articles with tons of useful info...

I agree Kenny. If your team's cooking it can be the most fun you can have on a bike, if not, it can be a really long day. Good luck to everyone.

Bill and Toby were superb yesterday and won the 4/5 for us. Hermes put in a strong effort for second place. They were great sports too encouraging us along when we caught them on Hill Road in lap #2.

Besides having two motors to pull us along, we put a lot of time into the TTT. We discussed it all year following our first attempt in 2009. We did a practice run on rte 29 a few weeks back in the 36km event and another practice run on the TTT course last Friday. We established that 26 minute laps on the TTT course were doable. We did 26:00 and 25:47.

I think that was the #2 time on the day for two laps and 5th overall for average speed as the men's open teams were faster even with the extra distance (damn kids).

With our same team and more practice we might get close to 51 flat. If they dump me and get someone good I'm sure they can go sub-51 on a nice day.
